Richmond stands midway between the
Washington region and North
Carolina's Research Triangle.
Virginia
Commonwealth University, Virginia's
leading research university after
Virginia Tech and the University of
Virginia, has built a strong
interdisciplinary approach to life
sciences, combining the resources of
the medical college, school of

Greater
Richmond Bio Synthesis
Greater
Richmond Bio
Synthesis, a quarterly website/newsletter
supported by the Greater Richmond
Partnership, synthesizes news about life
science technologies, products and
businesses originating from the
Richmond
region.
The publication has two goals:
1.
To
promote the building of new business
relationships and foster an exchange of
ideas within the region that will lead
to greater creativity and innovation;
and
2.
To
persuade industry players and service
providers outside the region that, to
keep abreast of the life sciences field, they need to maintain a presence
here.
The
website has two main functions: to
archive the newsletters, and to house
the Life Sciences Knowledge Base, a
directory and searchable index of
scientific, corporate and professional
expertise in the Richmond region.
Life
Sciences Knowledge
Base
Greater
Richmond Bio Synthesis has indexed
resources on scores of business and
academic websites relating to relevant
products, services, R&D,
institutions and enterprises. Browse
through our directory of links or
conduct a key-word search using the
search box found on every page.
If
